How are applied dominants considered as cord progression functions? Sould i consider them as them functions to the cord progression or always as dominant?
Example: I, V/ii, ii, V, I should equal to…
T,D,P,D,T (V/ii considered as dominant function) or T,P,P,D,T (V/ii considered as based on the ii-cord)
My gut feeling is that it should be considered dominant?

Ilkka,
I know I talked about this in the symposium, but I wanted to come back and answer here.
Applied dominants are considered dominant in function, but only in respect to the harmony they are applying to. If you were to write C – A7 – Dm, the A7 here would be considered D.
Hence the name applied dominant.
